The Lion Hotel is my favorite hotel in Sofia, especially for stays that are limited to the center, it is five minutes from the train and bus station, the value for money and the service are incredible and allows you to explore in complete peace of mind and comfort throughout the center of Sofia, it is right next to a tram stop, a bus stop and a metro station, so transportation options will not be scarce; We tried the breakfast place attached to the hotel and it is excellent for the price you pay. The only thing that could improve, especially in the winter season, is that the rooms leave a little to be desired with the heating not being the most effective and the hotel feels a little cold, and please repair the elevator, it is too slow and stops Going down four floors with luggage, the wait is no less than five minutes.

We chose this location for its ease to centre. Rooms were basic but good. Excellent power on the shower Breakfast served next door in cafe that is very popular It did have the lift from hell but it added to the ambience of the place Trams outside bus n train station close by

The hotel is pretty clean, beds are very spacious and comfortable and the location of hotel is really great but not so safe to walk around after 9pm. The cleaning staff is very helpful though the bathroom does need an update. Mini bar was a convenient detail and we had a cattle in the room. Breakfast is served in the coffee bar next door where I liked yoghurt with granola and fresh fruits the most and they really do serve great coffee and fresh juice :) All in all my husband and I enjoyed the stay and the marathon!

Very convenient location, rooms are nice, but the service is a bit "Eastern Europe". Breakfast is not clearly stated included or excluded and not mentioned how to get it when it's not included. Receptionist was not quite as friendly as you would expect and there were construction works ongoing without mentioning it on forehand. Despite that, the room was nice, not super clean, and a bit noisy. Overall I would still recommend it for a couple of nice due to the location of the hotel.

It is a nice hotel, the room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was really attentive.

The last straw was when we ordered a taxi at 9am to be told at 9am it would not arrive due to a marathon in the city. The staff went out of their way to be unhelpful 1. Can’t believe it took them this long to alert us 2. Very unhelpful with providing a solution - could not coordinate for us to get the taxi from a slightly different location outside of the perimeter and couldn’t tell us specifically what number metro to get. Nearly missed our flight

Decent hotel for its price. Very well located- close to attractions and main station. A supermarket right next to the hotel. Reception opens all night.

I didn’t have been like that worse and dirty hotel in my life. I travel all around world and and i didn’t seem kind of uncomfortable bed, most dirty shower, towels, carpet. It was like they never cleaned room. Also location so amazing unsafe places at night time. My advice if you’re going to stay there think twice. It was most bad experience in my life.
